I'm BACK!! with Essie Mojito Madness

So after two WHOLE weeks of nail rehab, my nails are all purdy and stronggggg. Sadly, the last day of my rehab, I smashed my finger at work and broke the nail on my middle finger (whyyyyyyy?!). So, saying that, please excuse my nub because I can't bring myself to file down the rest after all of that hard work.

So, lets get to that Essie :). While my nails were in rehab, I picked up Essie Mojito Madness from Target. I'm super pumped that I didn't return it when I first thought about it after buying. Mojito Madness is an awkward shade of green cream polish that I've most definitely fallen in love with. This polish is *almost* the love child of China Glaze GaGa for Green and Essie Turquoise and Caicos [Turquoise and Caicos being the recessive genes in the mix]. Two coats of this awesome wonderfulness of a color is all it took to become patch free and smooth. *all of my photos are topped with Seche Vite* Enough talk, more pics :)

This color was extremely hard to get JUST right in photographs, so it's almost a different color in every shot *the last was with flash*

Emily's Louboutin Manicure

Hey everyone!! This is Emily (a friend of Felicia's from work). I'm posting about the Louboutin manicure that she did while I was dying her hair pink:) For this manicure we used one coat of Essie Licorice and topped that off with a franken she made and named franken-flakes. This is a black jelly polish with every color flake you can imagine thrown into it as well as some holographic glitters. For the underside of the nail, we started off with one coat of Orly Dayglow to brighten up the red. For our Louboutin red, we used OPI Vodka and Caviar (a bright red jelly-creme). I LOVE the look of this, and can't wait to try out different color combinations. Enough talk, here are some pictures!! *please excuse my pink!*
Franken Flakes :)

Franken Flakes again :)

The Louboutin Side (Vodka & Caviar)

I can't talk about giving her pink hair without showing you a picture of all of it's awesomeness! So here she is in all of the bubblegum glory.
This pink is so bright, it reflected onto her face!

That's all I have for now, hopefully Felicia will have me back on here again
xoxo

Nail Envy Rehab

So my nails are breaking entirely too much for my liking, so I'm putting them in nothing but Nail Envy rehab for at least a week. I have a few polishes that I've photographed so I can still post some while my nails are recovering, and I also have a guest poster to keep everyone entertained :)

I'm definitely going to struggle with the no polish thing, but It's much needed for the condition of my nails.

Zoya Kimber

Today I have Zoya Kimber from their recent Beach/Surf collection, this one in particular is from the Surf part of the collection. Kimber is a very reddish pink with gold shimmer/micro glitter. Kimber was a bit thick for my taste, and took THREE :( coats for it to even out in spots. All of my pictures are three coats with two coats of SV (to make the thick goo dry quicker). I'm tempted to order some of Zoya's rejuvenating polish drops to try to thin it up a little.

Matt Picks Monday

Today Matt picked Orly Bubbly Bombshell :). BB is a fuschia glitter polish with baby glitters and big mamma glitters that live together in a clear jelly. This is two coats topped with SV, and it is an eyeful of awesomeness ;)
