Cult Nails 2nd Anniversary Swatches/Review

Hey guys! Today I have Cult Nails 2nd Anniversary collection to show you. Let me start off by saying I hate swatching Cult Nails because they're all so awesome and I don't want to take them off. I wanted to keep all three of these on forever.

Blaze: Blaze is a blend of gold and copper glitters. Photos shown are three thin coats topped with Wicked Fast :)

Tempest: Tempest is a thick *almost* one coat white. Even though it's just white, the formula was great and it went on smoothly and evenly. This shows two coats topped with Wicked Fast

Fetish: Fetish is a matte black polish of awesomeness. It's not thick like most matte polish, and it goes on super smooth. The first two pictures are two coats of Fetish with no topcoat, and the second two pictures are topped with Wicked Fast

Zoya Spring 2013 Lovely

AAAAAAND I'm on a roll today! I have Zoya's new spring collection to show you. The Lovely Collection is six super soft pastels *three shimmers, three creams*. All of these were Zang Toi or Peter Som custom shades. I'll also hit all six and tell you that these didn't go perfectly opaque without three coats.

I LOOVE the little boxes Zoya's collections come in.

Piaf is a creamy yellow shimmer *Zoya describes it as metallic, but its definitely a shimmer* that i'm not super fond of. My skin tone looks horrible with anything yellow. (This was a Zang Toi shade)

GeiGei is a cherry blossom pink shimmer. I must say that all of these shimmers stuck to my nails and even after swatching some other polish I still have shimmer on my fingers. This was a somewhat hard color to capture, but beautimus nontheless. (also a Zang Toi shade)

Julie is a pale lavender shimmer. This is one of the most glowing *if that's the term* pastels I've ever worn. AAAAAND for reasons unknown, this wanted to photograph with no shimmer. (and again, this was a Zang Toi shade)

Blu is exactly that, Blue. A gorgeous robin egg blue cream. This is my second favorite in the collection:)  (created for Peter Som)

Neely is a pastel spring green, almost a pastel sage. This is such an odd color to describe, just because I don't think there's a proper word for what color it is.  (this is a Peter Som shade)

Jacqueline is the perfect creamy pastel. It's a sweet cream color, and is my FAVORITE of the collection. This color reminds me of magnolia flowers. (a Peter Som shade)

Overall, this wasn't my favorite collection *not really a fan of pastels*, but it was very well done. The creams were definitely my favorite :)

Influenster Holiday Vox Box

Hey guys! I was recently one of the awesome people that got the Influenster's Holiday Vox Box. My box contained Quaker oatmeal, a NYC liquid lipshine, Kiss Nail Dress, EBoost, a Goody quikstyle brush, and a sole society coupon.

First off is the Quaker real medleys oatmeal +

I got the summer berry flavor. The flavor of this oatmeal was great! But -for me- this was quite a large portion of food for one serving. Overall, great product, just too much in one cup :)

NYC Luquid lipshine in the color Nude York City (582)

                   

This was a super sheer shimmery nude gloss. My favorite part about it is the smell! It smells like Malibu rum :O

Kiss Nail Dress in Babydoll

This is a set of nude sticker "polish" with silvery champagne dots. some of the nails had a little accent "stripe" and some were full nail dots. These were a bit thick for easy application, and since my nails are super short at the moment, they were a little hard to get them cut down to the right length without ruining the dots at the edges. Overall would be wonderful for people with tons of patience or super long nails.

EBoost: Natural Energy

EBoost is an effervescent energy powder added to water to give a healthy boost of energy. I got the pink lemonade flavor. I have not yet tried this flavor, but I have tried the product from another sample box in the orange flavor, and I'm definitely looking forward to some pink lemonade. 

Goody QuikStyle Brush (Paddle)

The Goody QuikStyle brush has microfiber bristles in between the normal bristles of the brush to absorb moisture while brushing, blowdrying, and styling.  This was a little hard to use on my super short pixie cut hair, but it did speed up the drying process quite a bit.

Lime Crime Desserts d'Antoinette

Long time no blog?! :( sadly I've been suuuuuper busy with school, and my new retail job has killed my nails and dried my cuticles into broken cracking deserts. So, here are some swatches I swatched a while back and never got to post :). This is Lime Crime makeup's Desserts d'Antoinette collection. These are all creamy pastels that had a satin-y finish and to save from rambling, they all took only two coats but dried slowly for me.

Peaches <3 Cream: a soft but vibrant peachy cream color :)

Milky Ways: a creamy off white. LOVE this polish and definitely need to purchase a few backups.

Parfait Day: a pastel neon pink * if that's even possible*

Once in a Blue Mousse: another favorite that I'll probably need a backup *or two* of.

Lavendairy: a soft lavender lilac color

Pastelchio: this was the hardest to photograph, on my nails IRL this shows a vibrant neon green that leans soft in white light.

Crema de Limon: a soft buttery yellow that was also hard to photograph *a little more neon IRL*

L'Oreal Project Runway: The Queen's Ambition

Today, I've got one of the L'Oreal Paris Project Runway polishes. This one is The Queen's Ambition, a black cream polish with silver micro glitters and some larger (but still small) silver hex glitters. This went on beautifully with two even coats topped with Cult Nails Wicked Fast for the high shine finish. This polish originally has a satin finish without top coat.

Damn Gurl!

Today I've got ONE MORE Tough As Nails Lacquer to show you. This one is Damn Gurl :)- a fuschia and purple multi glitter top coat. This has many different shapes and sizes of fuschia and purple glitters (hex, shards, and all sorts!). For some reason, I didn't get many good shots of this one :( but the ones I have are pretty amazing. I layered two coats of this over Lime Crime's Pastelchio.

Sweet Potatoes and Pies! another Tough As Nails Lacquer swatch/review

Today!! I've got another of the awesome Tough As Nails Lacquer's new polishes. This one has a forever loooong name, so I'll say it once and it will be abbreviated after. Shut Your Sweet Potato Pie Hole is a fall orange micro glitter with multiple sizes of orange, yellow, and gold hex glitters. SYSPPH went 90% opaque with two coats, and a third just to polish off some tiny naked spots.
