Zoya Spring 2012: Tru

Today I have Zoya's Tru :). Tru is a purple cream with gold micro glitter/shimmers in it that look AMAZING in the sunlight. These pictures are all two coats of Tru that dried awesomely quickly and went on smoothly.

Matt Picks Monday

Ahh! Another Monday is here, and with it is another of Matt's picks:) today he picked Julep Jodie. Jodie is a pinky coppery red metallic. It went on well with two coats and dried fairly quick :)

ahahaha :) so In time for tonight's premeire of the Hunger Games movie, I have an awesome mani to show everyone. There's no point in listing all of the polishes I used, because there were quite a few(haha). Without further ado, here they are:

Matt Picks Monday

Today is another Matt Picks Monday!! I totally missed last Monday due to a horrible migraine, so I'll post both for you.

I'll start with last Monday's post.
Matt picked Sinful Colors Green Ocean. He didn't want me to layer it, so I have three coats over OPI matte nail envy :). For those who don't know, Green Ocean is a flakie polish in a lime green base with a little baby hex glitters.

Now, for this week's pick :) Matt picked one of my new Zoyas Sienna. Sienna is a bright orange with glass flecks/micro flakies. Sienna would have worked okay with just two coats, but I used three just for extra coverage. I absolutely LOVE Zoya polishes and this one didn't fail on me.

Sinful Colors Cinderella

Today I have Cinderella to show you. I got this in a swap from someone in a polish group on Facebook, and I absolutely LOVE it :). Cinderella is a powder blue cream color with light pink micro flecks/glitter in it. I originally put it on my toes, and HATED it, but I absolutely LOVE it on my fingers :). It took 3 coats for it to completely even out with no patches, dry time was kinda slow but Seche Vite saved the day.

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 13

Today is the final day of the 13 Days of Hunger games. I decided to come up with my own flair for District 13 and the Capitol. For District 13, I used Riveting, Agro, Smoke and Ashes, & Luxe and Lush. For the Capitol (on the ring finger) I used Dress Me Up, Fast Track, and a little touch of Luxe and Lush. I hope everyone has enjoyed this as much as I have:)

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 12 Smoke and Ashes

I can't believe there's only one day left in my 13 Days of Hunger Games, that calls for District 12, the coal mining district. Smoke and Ashes goes awesomely with this district. It is a black jelly base with tiny micro flecks that flash green, purple, and blue (but are a pain to photograph). Smoke and Ashes is the same type of polish as Fast Track, but different colors. Applied well with two coats (one would have been sufficient).

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 11 Agro

I've been looking forward to day 11 for District 11. As soon as I saw Agro in the bottle, I wanted to put it on IMMEDIATELY :). District 11 is the agriculture district, so Agro was perfect for it. Agro is a deep metallic duochromey green that shifts from green to black to a yellowish color. I'm looking forward to seeing this color in the sunlight.

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 10 Foie Gras

Today is day 10 of the 13 Days of Hunger Games, meaning it's time for District 10 the livestock district. Foie Gras is named after a duck dish, and is a grayish purplish brown. Sadly, the purple tones won't show in pictures:(. These pictures all have two coats of Foie Gras

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 9 Harvest Moon

Today is day 9 of the 13 Days of Hunger Games, so it's time for District 9, the grain district. Harvest Moon is the color for district 9. Harvest Moon is a bronze metallic with shimmer to it. It went on awesomely with two coats :)

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 8 Dress Me Up

Today is day 8 of the 13 Days of Hunger Games:). District 8 is known for Textiles, so I have Dress Me Up. Dress Me Up is a "dusty" rose pink. It went on well with two coats, but I'm a little bummed that it didn't show up as pink on my skin as it did in the bottle.

Matt Picks Monday

Today (as well as my earlier post on District 7) is Matt Picks Monday:). Today he went with another Finger Paints polish from their new spring collection. This one is Lemon Sour. Lemon Sour is a bright pastel yellow that went on well with two coats.

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 7 Mahogany Magic

Today is day 7:) meaning District 7; the lumber district. Mahogany Magic was obviously made for this reason. Mahogany Magic is a medium brown cream that went on well with two coats. There's not much to say about this color, so I'll show ya:)

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 6 Fast Track

Today is day 6 of the 13 Days of Hunger Games, so its time for district 6. District 6 is known for transportation, so it's fitting that Fast Track is the one made for it. Fast Track is a nude with gold micro flakes in it :). This one took 3 coats, but it's still one of my favorites in the collection :)

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 5 Electrify

Today is day 5 of the 13 Days of Hunger Games which means District 5. District 5 is known for electricity and electrical things, so it' only fitting that Electrify is representing this one. Elictrify is a glitter polish with small gold round glitters and medium red hexagonal glitters. My pictures are two coats with two coats of Seche Vite.

13 Days of Hunger Games: Day 4 Hook & Line

Today is day 4 of the 13 Days of Hunger Games which can only mean it's time for District 4. District 4 is the fishing district, so it's only fair that they got a polish called Hook and Line. Hook and Line is a metallic gray (yes, gray, not silver). In certain lights it has a green tint to it, but I haven't been able to capture it on camera. This color reminds me 100% of fish they way it looks on and during application. The color applied awesomely with two coats :)

Today is day 3 of my 13 Days of Hunger Games :) that means DISTRICT 3! Representing District 3 is Riveting; a bright glittery orange that has a micro glitter/glass fleck almost like Zoya's collection with Charla and Gilda. Riveting went on awesomely with two coats
