Matt Picks Monday

Today is MONDAY!! and it's time for Matt to pick a polish :). Today Matt picked a Sally Girl polish that I picked up at work called Lime.. aaaaand it's lime scented (kinda). Lime is a darkish lime green polish with some shimmer to it. This is two coats of Lime with no TC.

Matt Picks Monday

So it's Monday! And I'm on schedule with posting for the first time in a whole :) Matt picked an Orly polish that I picked up at work a few weeks ago; it's called Close Your Eyes. Close Your Eyes is a dark orchid purple with a bit of gold undertoned pink that flashes in the sun. I definitely like this polish way more than I thought I would :). Anyways, here's the best picture I could get

Matt Picked Monday.... and I'm a Slacker :(

Soooo, obviously, today is Tuesday and I'm a little late posting what Matt picked on Monday. You can go on and smack me, I have no good excuse for posting late. So anyways, Matt told me to put on something green, so I went with OPI's Sit Under the Apple Tree. Sit Under the Apple Tree is a pale spring green with yellowish gold shimmer. My bottle of SUTAT was a bit thin and runny -which is odd for OPI- and took three coats to give a "full" coverage. After looking at pictures, I think I should have done four coats to even everything out 100%. I probably won't wear this color much because of the many coats I needed to make this look good. But enough talk, here it is!!

Fish Egg Friday :)

Today, I have for you a Fish Egg mani :) Of course copycatting Ciate's Caviar manicure. For mine, I used Essie's Licorice and some black microbeads I found at Michaels. There's not much to say about it, other than I LOVE it, even though I really want to pick the beads off :O. Cristina at Let them have Polish! inspired me to post this today :)

Matt Picks.......Late: Little Piggies Edition

Okie dokie, so Matt picked a polish on Monday, and I painted on Monday, and I also got a horrible migraine on Monday (how many times can I type Monday in one sentence), so I didn't post on Monday :(. So here's my late post.

Matt picked Essie's Meet Me at Sunset in the mini baby bottle :). It's a bright orange cream polish that is awesome just like all of the other Essie that I've used, it went on smooth with two coats and dried fairly quickly (I still used SV to top it off). I decided to put this one on my little piggies :)

Julep Alyson

Today I was feeling the nude that I got in my Julep April Maven box. This one is called Alyson :) Alyson is a light nude cream polish that covered well with two coats.

Today is Matt Picks Monday :) today he picked from my new Julep polishes that I got in my maven box. He picked Jessica, a light baby blue cream polish. This went on kind of thick, but the temperature in my room is a bit warm, and all of my polishes are acting funky. These pictures are all two coats topped with Seche Vite .
