Emma Watson inspired destructo-nails

I was quite inspired by Emma Watson's destructed nails from her November ELLE shoot. Many posts I've seen about it were "hating" on it, but I actually like the look.

I used Manglaze Royal Mattermoaning (with Hot Mess on the ring finger) and took a q-tip and acetone to get rid of the middle-ish section. I topped it off with Orly Sheer Nude.

I may try mattifying it to see what it looks like sometime before I take it off.

    Interesting! It's definitely a fashionable look, if not for everyone. I think I'll try it with a thick coat of one color underneath, and a thin coat of the top color, then see if I can just take off that.
