Today was half moon nails, though I'm not too fond of the design, here it is

For today's glitter nails, I used Manglaze Fuggen Ugly topped with Northern Lights glitter top coat

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Sixteen: Tribal Nails

Today was tribal nails!!

I used China Glaze Peachy Keen & did the design work with some stripers from Sally's in a magenta & gold

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Fifteen: Delicate Print Nails

Today was delicate print nails.

I used Manglaze mayonnaise & stamped some filigree prints on them with Essie's Sew Psyched.

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Fourteen: Flowered Nails

Today's nails were flowers, so I used Color Club Gingerbread scented & a random unmarked Color Club for flower stamping.

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Twelve: Striped Nails

Today is STRIPED nails :) I used Sinful Colors "Unicorn" with a random unnamed striper from Sally's. Today was shipment day, so by the time I got to take a picture of this mani, they looked HORRIBLE

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Eleven: Polka Dot Nails

For my polka dot nails, I used Sinful Colors Mint Apple for the base & Manglaze Fuggen Ugly for the dots (used the Salon Effects stamper for the dot pattern). I topped it off with Manglaze Matte-Astrophe :)

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Ten:Gradient Nails

For today's gradient nails, I had a hard time thinking of what to do :( I decided on doing each nail a different shade of red. Here they are

None of these pictures show the different shades of red :( i'm super bummed how this turned out & I'll make sure to post extra awesome ones from here on out :)

I didn't have much time today to do my rainbow nails all fancy and whatnot, but I did them nonetheless :)

For my metallic nails, I used Julep Sienna & stamped my ring finger with Zoya Noel :)

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Seven: Black & White Nails

Originally for my black & white nails, I planned on stripes but later thought that would be too "plain" so I decided to do a straw splatter using Wet N Wild white for the base and China Glaze Liquid Leather for the splatters.

I know I got a little picture happy with this, but I LOVE how it turned out :)

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Six: Violet Nails

Today is violet nails :) I decided to use one of the colors that I got in yesterday's nail mail: Julep Trina

I loved the application of Trina, This is only one coat, and it dried super fast

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Five: Blue Nails

Today is BLUE nails day :)

This is the first time I've gotten to use this polish since I bought it about a month ago, and I'm super happy with how it looks :)

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Four: Green Nails

I was pretty excited about green nails, because I was just recently given a bottle of Revlon's Apple-Tini Fizz (from Amber from Rainbows & Sparkles) and I haven't gotten to use it :)
So here it is in all it's apple-scented-ness :)

 It looks really yellow with just one coat

 This turned out well for being done with my "wrong" hand while driving :)

 Two coats, and you can see the little flakies in it :)

31 Day Nail Challenge Day Three: Yellow Nails

When I first saw the Yellow Nails challenge on the list, I panicked (lol). Yellow is a color everyone is trying to keep off their nails (many brands make a yellow stopper), so the first thought in my head was "how do I make it cute?"
Here they are :)

For my yellow nails, I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz and China Glaze Blonde Bombshell :)

I'm glad I had the Lemon Fizz on hand, because that's the only non-neon yellow I own, and I didn't want to go the "easy" route and do a matte neon yellow.

Hope ya like this one :) I like it better than I thought I would.

31 Day Nail Challenge Day One: Red Nails

My first blog post (for this blog at least) is going to kick off my start of the 31 day nail challenge :)

Here is the list of challenges for each day :) I'm pretty excited to start this today.

For my red nails, i started with OPI Vodka & Caviar :) to keep it from being a plain cliche red, I added Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat (available at Sally Beauty Supply). This top coat is an iridescent pinkish gold that transforms any color into something shimmery. On the tips I used China Glaze Love Marilyn (from the Eye Candy collection) for some extra glitter and sparkle :)

Definitely looking forward to what I'll come up with tomorrow :) I love layering and sparkle
